The Next Giant Step for Birb

I would like to talk about the elephant in the room. Our Birb token smart contract was designed to drain Pancakeswap liquidity every 24 hours when the hatch smart contract function is called. 48% of these drained BIRB tokens were distributed to the top 250 holders, 51% were burned and 1% were given to the user that successfully called the smart contract function. To this date, just over 7 million BIRB have been burned.

At the beginning of our project, this was fine and the rewards were great. Every month the liquidity and rewards dropped by a lot. These past few weeks/months we have been brainstorming many solutions and the best solution will be shown below.

Other issues with our current smart contract:

Birb has no transaction fees, no Buy/Sell fees, or any fees. There is currently no revenue that the BIRB token provides us that can sustain the project. Having no fees also makes bots completely take over the BIRB price.  At any time a bot can dump the BIRB price or pump and dump for a quick profit. Many times when our price wanted to pump bots would sell and dump the price.  It has been a nightmare and we will do everything we can to stop this with the new BIRB smart contract.

All the development and marketing have been paid from our pockets since about September of last year. To this date, we have spent tens of thousands of dollars from our funds on Birb (Enough to buy a Tesla and NOT a base model). We feel many people would never run a project at a loss monthly because of how much they care about it and believe in it.  I hope that this shows you how serious we are about our Birb project and we will be here for many, many years.

Our solution to let our Birb fly:

The solution we have thought about is Relaunching BIRB and fixing any smart contract issues that cause our beautiful project not to grow. We want one of our main focuses to be e-commerce and privacy. So having wallet-to-wallet transaction fees is not something we want to have.

Instead, we will have a 5% sell tax. From this 5%, 3% Will go to our marketing & development fund and 2% will be used to provide liquidity on pancakeswap.

Having a steady marketing and development fund will help the project immensely and it will help speed up development.

The developer Fuwa, in charge of the new Birb token smart contract, said he can have this done quickly.  Our dev also has experience as he has absorbed 3 projects into his own so he will also create the smart contract to convert our community's old BIRB tokens to the new BIRB tokens.

It will be a seamless process and it would be a 1:1 ratio. We have also spoken to ApeSwap and the liquidity we added can be migrated and unlocked with their lp locking contract.

Another question we will have is how will you raise more funds to have even more liquidity on pancakeswap?

One solution we have is to quickly have our designer create a very limited second season of NFTs (Will also get large rewards). All sales on these NFTs will be strictly for providing extra Pancakeswap liquidity and cex exchange listings.  CEX exchange listings will be one of the highest priorities with the new Birb.  We now have someone in our team that can apply with all Birb LLC company documentation to many Cex (Centralized Exchanges).

Other questions you may have:

1. What will happen to my BIRB token rewards for staking my Birb NFT's? The same dev that created the NFT staking contract will make the new Birb token contract and all he will need to do is create a new staking contract connected to the new Birb token. It will be seamless.

2. What will happen to the BIRB pool? The Birb pool will remain open until it ends.  It will end in approximately 2 weeks or less.  After this we recommend you unstake from any previous Birb pools.

3. What happens to the current and upcoming developments? Our ecommerce applications, BirbGames and any existing developments are easy to convert to the new BIRB token. Our developments are on hold until we redeploy the new BIRB as the marketplace, BirbBattles, Flock Protocol etc... all need to be fully connected to the new Birb token in the smart contracts.

4. Will you still reward the top 250 holders? There will be an external pool (not connected to any liquidity) we will use this pool to reward the top 250 holders.

love the idea. right now seems we are being held down because of the low pancakeswap liquidity and bots that dump as soon as a big buy order goes through. with a relaunch and sell tax things will change for the better.

Very wise decision. I am a strong believer of Birb but I admit it got me a little upset when I bought 4bnb worth and in the exact same seconds a bot sold 4bnb. This will end with the sell tax and I am happy for it

The only worry I have right now are the new smart contracts. The current staking contract is missing some general functions to make community tools reliable/possible, so will you ask us for input on the contract before making it final or will you let Fuwa “wing it”? (Saw what I did there? )
