You might be wondering, "What's Birb working on now?" Well, we're always cooking up something exciting, and this time, we've got something big: BasedStreams

Why the name BasedStreams?

We wanted a universal, inclusive name that could cater to more projects beyond our own. But don't worry; we've still got BirbStreams in our back pocket, and we're ready to roll if the community prefers that name.

What is BasedStreams?

BasedStreams is a platform where you can start your own live streams. Whether using your video camera or screen-sharing, you can connect with your audience, chat with viewers, and even receive tips and gifts during your livestream.

OBS Game Streaming Integration

For gamers, BasedStreams goes a step further. We're integrating OBS-style streaming, perfect for live gaming or screen sharing. We've partnered with AntMedia to deliver low-latency, high-quality streaming through their Enterprise server.

This is no easy feat—we're working hard to fine-tune the software and iron out a bug to ensure a stable, smooth experience before we roll it out publicly.  

Why BasedStreams?

Our vision is simple:  

- Create a space where gamers, crypto enthusiasts, and content creators can stream their content.

- Enable streamers to earn $BIRB/$USDC tips and gifts effortlessly.

- Foster competitions and expand the platform as it grows.  

This project is ambitious, and I'm personally funding it, which means progress takes time. However, I am committed to making it happen as soon as possible, step by step, and delivering a platform we can all be proud of. We will release BirbTV and BasedStreams together.
